The season of ‘thanks’

Happy Thanksgiving week!

I love Thanksgiving and how we all get to reflect on what we are grateful for in our lives. I think everyone can be happy for their health when they have it. COVID has been so hard for so many, and I’m personally glad to have recently gotten my booster- anything to get this pandemic done with! I’ve also been exercising my body, getting some muscles which also helps my mind and lungs for voiceover! The weather has been sunny and cool, but so grateful to live in the great state of California during the winter! It’s a mild 65 degrees fahrenheit out, ha!

This year brought me back together with voice acting, and I’m so grateful for that! It’s brought a lot of joy and creativity back to my soul. I’ve always loved acting, being dramatic and expressive and voiceover just hits the nail on the head for me. I’ve had a lot of great mentors and coaches along the way, helping me through the business and copy questions and pushing me to go further with my choices. I have another one-on-one coaching session with Garnet Williams of Universal Voice Talent next week and now that I’ve got my Character Playbook more put together I will try to nail down the voices I want to use on my character/video game demo! Exciting.

I have some other irons in the fire, perhaps soon to be announced, but I’m very excited for what lies ahead! Excited to visit my parents this weekend and be grateful for their endless love and support. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
